That's too bad. He flashed some potential. Seeing him improve throughout the year would have definitely made the rest of this season bearable.
It is tough to play with a foot injury. Might as well get it fixed with nothing to play for.
Pretty sure he re-injured an old injury. Showed x-rays on his Insta 2 weeks ago with chips of bone surrounding what I am guessing is a screw in his foot.

yeah he is getting fake surgery by a fake doctor on a fake injury he got in high school. Now say that to yourself and see if it makes any sense.

It never really seemed like a good idea to try and "manage" a foot injury on a big guy. Take care of it and get it healed fully.
Yeah im guessing hes gone, if his bones are chipping its more of a Yao ming type injury that ended his career.
Simply a summation of my thoughts on ISU basketball right now:
Fitting thing to happen during this dumpster fire year/season/coach. Hope he heals fully and quickly.
This season was a lost cause anyways. Hope he has a quick recovery and comes back strong next season!

I have been hoping they would go this route. Does neither the team or him any good to play injured. Get it fixed and heal and then go to work on your game.
