Teams that should not be on the list
Clemson-Their uniforms are nice even though they are orange.
ISU and Utah- Guy has something against red on red.
Teams that should be on the list
Miami university
Miam of Ohio
LSU -tradition or not those yellow helmets are ugly.
The reason we are so passionate about it.....is because they are God-awful ugly. Fans want a change to a simple, coordinated, classic design. And please, please, please lose the goofy logo.
I suspect the real reason for the passion is that everyone is a design major...2...3...4.
Because we all know how much a team's jersey design contributes to them winning football games. :biggrin9gp:
I'm not sure, but the Syracuse picture looks like throwback unis. If they are going to call uni's ugly, they could at least judge the regular ones...
No reason to get up in arms because some anonymous SI.com photo essay that also said that Notre Dame Green and Delaware (same as Michigan) were bad. Clemson too. This is just sloppy journalism on SI's part.

Off the top of my head
Florida, FSU, They both have worn all blue or all red. They do mix it up however.
One thing I've noticed that NCAA football teams are going to is making the name of the school REALLY small on the front of the jersey (see Meyer photo above in other posts) Whatever happened to the name on the front being more important than the name on the back? Perfect example, look at this photo:
You can actually read the TEXAS from more than 4 feet away from the person wearing the jersey. I'm not saying ours are bad, I just don't understand why a lot of teams have gone to the tiny school lettering. :rolleyes5cz:

This didn't make any sense. I can see Rhode Island and Syracuse throwback uniforms being a little ugly, but I don't understand how they developed this list.
Delaware is basically the same uniform as Michigan. I'm no Notre Dame Fan but their uniform is a classic...so is the Clemson uniform. Oregon has a next generation uniform that is different than anything else out there.

Actually, those are Syracuse's regular uniforms. When they hired Greg Robinson as their head coach a couple of years ago, he decided to give the team a retro look that recalled their tradition during the Jim Brown/Ernie Davis heyday of the '50s and '60s. Decent idea, poor execution, IMO.
I agree. I saw Delaware on the list, and when I saw no mention of Michigan at all I quickly disregarded the ratings. If you've got two identical uni's and call one ugly and the other one of the best (which they've done before for Michigan) it looks like all you're doing is pointing out schools you don't like.
Florida has wore the blue on blue once... Every other game besides throwback games they wear the orange or white pants... I am pretty sure Florida State has only worn garnet on garnet once as well, the fans hated it and it was back to the gold pants or garnet with white tops...
well wait till they see us with yellow pants this fall with nothing to balance it out on top...we will move to at least #3.
