Gundy speaks the truth. And sometimes people don't like that but it needs to be said.
That was straight up Mike Leach quality there.
He’s right. Social media is worthless. In before those that love it rush to defend.
Is this social media?
OMG he’s my hero, ha ha!
Their fans have been all over Cornelius and Gundy. Defense and OL are their issues.
They couldn’t stop TT, ISU, or KSU. And they also couldn’t protect Cornelius in our game.
What the heck do you think CF is? Or is it just like your Playboy subscription where you just read the articles.
...and Gundy for the win!
CF is a sports media site with a message board.
You’re right to your opinion, but by definition, your opinion is wrong.
It’s blatantly obvious that message boards are social media. I don’t even need the definition.
This should be Sport Centers # 1 play!!
OP, thanks for sharing. Great sentiments from Gundy. I love social media (including this site) and hope it doesn't go away. Unfortunately, it is a tool that exposes some less than desirable traits of the human species. It also showcases some of the best of humanity. Take what you like and leave the rest.
If CF turns into the type of social media that states where people are, who they're with, etc. it will be worth doing away with.
Otherwise message boards where people can say anything can be just as awful just without the disclosure.
The question was, is CF social media?
I’ll reiterate. CF is a sports media site which has a message board. Specifically, a fan site. Yes, message boards arguably fall within the definition of “social media”—but not in the context that Grundy was using it.
By definition a message board is very much social media.
