Health of Gadsen is going to be key. We now have the ability to have alot of potential at both weights. Gadsen starts at 197 and Ward or Beard starts at 184. Hawes is capable to be at either weight if one gets hurt. Shafer is a backup at 184. If Gadsen goes down to injury, I see Ward at 197 and Beard at 184.

Interesting to still see Spangler listed at 165. It's been pretty much a given in most people's eyes that he would be at 174. If he's going to stay down and duke it out with Sorenson, that will be a battle, but it's going to leave us weaker than I expected at '74.

Complete and total speculation here, but I saw Sorenson on campus the other day and it looked to me like he bulked up even more. I thought he was pretty big and cut before, but it looked like he had tree trunks for arms, like he was the thrid Paulson or something. I think Sorenson and Spangler are pretty similar in height, so with the added bulk I could easily see Sorenson at 74 and Spangler at 65. Again, complete speculation. Either way, both weights should be pretty solid in my eyes. Can't wait for the season!
