Will there be a final poll and will we be ranked?

Should be, but I’ll be surprised. Not much buzz for beating Memphis by 1 in a lower tier bowl. Even though they were one of the tougher bowl opponents we could have played. Hope I’m wrong

There’s only 3 teams that will probably drop from the rankings.
#19 Memphis lost to ISU
#21 Wash St blown out by #18 MSU
#22 Va Tech lost to #17 Okie St

Receiving votes:
#26 NC St won
#27 SDSU lost
#28 Toledo lost
#29 Louisville lost
#30 FAU won
#31 Michigan plays South Carolina
#32 Fresno St won
#33 Mizzou lost
#34 Troy won
#35 KSU won

FAU and lower all got 10 votes or less, so they are kind of a moot point, plus none of them beat a ranked team on the road.
Based on the process of elimination, NC St will move in and leaves 2 more spots up for grabs. If Michigan wins, they probably move in. If I’m a voter I would move ISU in. That being said, I bet ISU is 26-27ish.

Good analysis. Not enough teams can drop out of top 25 based on bowl losses, and too many teams that received votes in most recent poll, when ISU received no votes.

If it wasn't for that robbery of a game vs KSU, no doubt we would be there. Somewhat of sweet justice would be if we end up in the top 25 and KSU is left out. Any pollsters who watched that game in Manhattan would be silly to put the Mildcats ahead of us in any final rankings. If you can't tell, I'm still pi$$ed about that game.

Good stuff. So there's chance we could just get in at 25.

How many unranked teams have 3 ranked wins this season, much less 2 top 5 wins. Also 2 if the 3 are road wins (counting Memphis).
