Yes or no.
Yes....I wish he'd coach at a small school now, so he can be ready when the time comes.
I'd like to see it.
Yes. and since that was too short to post, let me repeat it. Yes.
He and hornacek both need to be working on building their experience and resume's so we are able to call on either of them someday.
I would love it, but I just don't see it happening.
Why do people just assume great players make great coaches?
Is there something that makes you think Hoiberg wouldn't be a great coach?
Because assuming our most celebrated players could care less is not great message board fodder. Debbie Downer.
Only that he has never coached...
No, but Fred has not had the opportunity to show he can be a great coach.
What was Cael's coaching record before ISU?
You would say that based on his time here Cael is a great coach?
No idea...Don't follow wrestling.
You'd say he was bad?
Getting involved in BB operations for the T-Wolves would have one think that he is interested in BB development and the building of a program. Nevertheless, he has never been the HC anywhere yet. Once he gets that chance, and is successful....ISU would have to keep their eye on him and bring him in.
Yes, I would love to see the Mayor coaching ISU someday. Would be cool.
I have a feeling Fred would have the same record as Mac with this team.
This. Has anything Fred has ever done in his career after ISU shown that he even has an interest in coaching? I know he has done some front office type work, but that is pretty far from coaching. Maybe he would want to come back and work in the AD.
No. Too much stress for his heart.
