Up to Baylor to salvage the 5-5 split. Bleh.
Also, say what you want about the timing of the challenge, but it’s been getting a lot of coverage today
Imagine thinking the Big 12 was gonna win 2 or 3 games in this tournament
Imagine thinking this was a tournament.
This whole challenge has been a success. Auburn and Texas Tech being in the Final 4 last year really helped. OU and South Carolina have both made the Final 4 pretty recently as well. Baylor is ranked high. It’s so much better than when it was KU v. UK every year.
Wow! 9-1 straight up! You picked the KU "non-combattants" to win, and KSU's to lose. And most amazingly, both of the woeful Oklahoma schools to win. I didn't post, but missed ALL of those. Your only loss was TxT, and they lost to KY in an OT classic. Shoulda spent the weekend in Vegas!!
This deep into the season, I thought those were all pretty obvious but missed on the one tossup, TxT. I really thought their crowd would will them to victory. But give it up to UK and Cal, they are good. ISU and K-State could have swept the state of Alabama, but alas ...
Must be another one of those unwritten rules. LOL.
Case and point
Yep. Having it on one day and ESPN saturation helps.
Some argue it's badly placed midway through conference season, but it holds its own just as well as it would if it had to compete with non-league holiday tournaments.
Kentucky fans whine about getting jobbed by the refs more than any other fan base I converse with which is quite an accomplishment.
