1st team -
The Senior All Walkon Team?
Looks good. But Embiid should be MVP in my opinion.
Not sure that I can agree on the MVP.
Wiggins: 15.9 pts, 6.0 rebs, 1.6 assists, 44% FG, 38.2% 3pt
Kane: 16.5 pts, 6.7 rebs, 6.0 assists, 48.3% FG, 36.2% 3pt
Dat censorship. But otherwise I'm in agreement with LawyerClone on the teams and, if the season ended today, Kane as POY. But wouldn't be surprised at all if Wiggins turns it on and ends up with it.
are there any actual predictions out there updated since Saturday?
Going to be a lot of tough calls this year. Some very good players aren't going to make the cut.
You know that they would put smart over ejim on first team. It is more about who they BELIEVE are the best rather than looking at the numbers.
Somebody from Kansas will get player of the year, unless they slip and we finish great
Except one is a guard and one is a forward. Did you mean they'd take Smart over Kane? I could see that, but it seems like Smart is rapidly burning up his goodwill with media/coaches. He might not get as much benefit of the doubt as you'd think.
I tend to agree that Smart will be 1st team and Iowa State will only have 1 on 1st team. I don't agree with that, but ...
Hopefully the Big 12 will decide the proper karmic justice for Smart's flopping will be a spot on the 2nd Team. I don't know how Kane doesn't make it barring meltdown or injury but I worry Ejim will get overlooked just like he has all year by everybody.
Embiid has gone from unknown to underrated to overrated.
I'm not usually one to get too caught up in 1st team/POY hoopla, but if Ejim has the conference scoring title and still gets overlooked, I'll be grabbing the torches and pitchforks with everyone else on here.
KU will get POY, Kane gets Newcomer of the Year
I would see no way at current stats pace that Ejim isn't included, unless ISU drops to sixth in the conference or something (and if that happens, his statistics probably will have dipped anyway).
Scoring avg: 1st
Rebound avg: 3rd
FT%: Tied for 5th
Depends on if we finish second a (or higher). If so, our players get more cred.
