The game that surprised us happened last Saturday. Not that we were sure we would win, but we thought we would be competitive just like last year's close loss or the previous year's close win. I think it opened our eyes that our program has gotten worse with each passing year since Dan McCarney was fired. At this point I think we have tossup games with Kent State, Army, CU, and KSU, and will lose all the rest, which means anything better than a 3-9 season would be a surprise. We're not supposed to expect 3-9 in September when we're in the 3rd year of "the next big step" that was sold to us by you-know-who.
