Hawks ranked. Playing a decent opponent and Carver is half empty and dead. Pathetic.
They are losing at home to a team that was 0-18 in ACC last year. Ouch. Gee, maybe Oregon was overrated? They just lost at home to Texas Southern tonight.
It snowed on Saturday/Sunday.
No pizza, no fans.
They really must have lost the majority of their basketball fans from the last 15 years. Carver is one of the worst basketball atmospheres in the country. Down 6 at half to the worst major conference team of last year doesn’t help though.
Half empty? Did they give away free leftover turkey to get that many there?
Iowa State hasn’t sold out Jack Trice once this year despite having nearly 10k fewer seats but you want to talk about attendance? I don’t think you want to do that actually.
Go back to HR where Hawk fans are saying the same things about Carver being a morgue.
A friend of mine got a ticket for $8 tonight. That’s pathetic. Hilton would be packed.
How bout let’s talk about how the game has gone
An 0-18 ACC team is beating the #14 Hawks in Carver and nobody is surprised.
This is a basketball thread dummy
Just a little bit of difference between 1/2 full and 90% full.
Never worry, CHA will be full and rocking when ISU comes to town. Not that often Hoks get to see that level of basketball.
Here's your answer: CHA is a ****** venue, in a lousy spot that is impossible to get in and out of, and lets face it, even Hawkeye fans don't believe in their team despite the ranking.
Which retread is this by the way. Was keeping track in Excel but limit is 64,000 rows...
Yea, we’re ranked 14th.
Heck I got a view of the camera shot and I don’t even think is 50% full there.
Please be Top 10 when we come to Iowa City.
Try keeping that ranking in March. Fran has proven time and time again he can only get his team ranked in the first half of the year.
Floor slapping like OU. Watch out!
