The guy you point out (I will not honor him by naming his handle) won't be heard from again, at least until we are behind in a future game. That's his specialty.
They stopped Iowa twice inside the 10. Rocco doesn't even have the opportunity without that.

Attending my first Cy Hawk game in Iowa City. What do i need to know/ be aware of?
If it was a night game, I'd say stay home...all day drinking Tavern Hawks or Squawkeye students are complete a-holes, win or lose. Obnoxious if they win...angry poor sports if they lose. But, if you don't get caught up in Hawkeye rah rah propaganda and respond to it...you'll be fine with 2:30...

A few of us tried to tell you guys that Verdon was the guy in the secondary. A very distant third in the CF poll asking who is ISUs best DB. They don't win without him today.
Bro, we get that it was an ugly win. But enjoy our win over our biggest rival. This isn’t basketball so a win over Iowa is rare for us. The team also showed us they can overtake a game in the second half.

Yeah, you need to learn early on as a Cyclone that you don't react to any one play, any one drive, or any given score until the whistle blows. We can find every way conceivable to win or lose and overreacting to in-game emotions is incredibly easy to do, but it's always best to avoid the game threads. I won't let today's win cloud my judgement to now think we're going 12-0, just like I didn't change my expectations after last week to expect 4 wins on the season.

Same here. I thought it was going to get ugly after the first drive in the second half!!!
I take the viewpoint that we are always going to be a team straddling the small line between wins and losses because we have never and will never be at the level where we can take anything for granted. We can be a team that has an all-conference roster on the field, but we'll never be 2 or 3 deep with starting level players to sub in or take over. That's going to continue to be the overall look of a lot of Big 12 teams going forward so we won't be alone.
