I have been lucky enough to have gone to a CFB Game in 74 different stadiums! So, I am going to limit my comments to the Top 5 that I have been to the most.

02. Cincinnati Bearcats - Cincinnati, OH: Nippert Stadium - Cincinnati, OH (31)

05. L.S.U. Tigers - Baton Rouge, LA: Tiger Stadium (15)

I lived in all 5 places, which explains the quantity.
My Thoughts:
Alabama and LSU are just totally different animals. Both are HUGE and absolutely ROAR for a big game. There are other stadiums in other parts of the country that are equally as good, but none are better.
My first Alabama game was in the old 59,000 lower bowl only, and the transformation to the modern day 100,000 is unbelievable. fyi: The old lower bowl still stands intact. They just built the upper decks on top of and around it. With the exception of not being 100% seat-backs, it would make some NFL stadiums blush. Favorite Game: Alabama 29 Georgia 28 in 1994.
As for LSU, I love the architecture of the old stadium, but I have not been to a game there since they added the 2nd upper deck. It was still a 79,000 seat stadium when I last visited in 1984 vs. Tulane. Drunk Cajuns can make a lot of noise! Favorite Game: LSU 55 Florida State 21 in 1982.
Iowa State was very average when I went to my first game in 1989. The hard artificial turf was atrocious, not to mention the two open end zones! Glad they fixed both of those issues! Plus, the bathroom and concessions areas need to be re-engineered. The upgrades look fabulous on TV, and I am ready to stand up and ROAR again on 9/14/2019! I am definitely looking forward to going to my first game since 2012 in the 3rd largest stadium in the Big Xii! Favorite Game: Iowa State 17 Iowa 10 in 1999.
Northwestern is a crappy stadium, but I loved going to games there. Pretty cool to take the "L" to the Central stop and walk to the stadium. Their idea of an upgrade was a coat of purple paint and an end-zone garden. lol One of the things that was cool is that there were always plenty of fans from the opposing B1G teams, since Chicago is a B1G magnet. Favorite Game: Northwestern 54 Michigan 51 (in regulation) in 2000.
Cincinnati is an old and very comfortable stadium for a game! They recently renovated it, but that was basically to add some suites on the press-box side. Very small, but very fan friendly. Favorite Game: Miami (OH) 31 Cincinnati 26 in 2002. Just a picture perfect day watching the "Oldest Rivalry West of the Alleghenies", and Big Ben was the RedHawk QB.
