I suppose it's natural to take this to a 'how's this help us' mentality. But for me, it's a different question. How does this happen to youngsters?
I mean Vick is a talented athlete on a blue blood program. He gets dismissed. Then he returns. Then he's out again. Why?
Self's program is under so much scrutiny on so many levels. Now this happens. Maybe this ends in his departure. Personally, I believe he's a horrible mentor for young men and would be better coaching in the NBA.
Whatever, I don't see any good in any way when a youngster like Legearld craters.
Vick is of particular interest to K-State fans because he was a pitch away from signing here.
