Initially I voted stuffing (as noted w/ my first post) but I revised to turkey, for the reason you stated. Stuffing is my main "augment."I voted turkey because on Thanksgiving it's the sun around which all other foods revolve.

I’m with you AngI would happily throw both pumpkin and pecan pie in the garbage in favor of an apple crumble or cherry pie.
This nearly redeems you for your disgusting like of goat cheese. Because you are correct. Pecan and pumpkin are gross.
Added to Q4 CF Notable posts list. Why do they take something as glorious as pie and put straight crap in it?
Pecan and pumpkin are gross.
This is why misogyny exists. You know that, right? Why do they take something as glorious as pie and put straight crap in it?
I think there must be people trolling this poll voting stuffing...I am literally the only person in my family who would eat stuffing. Being as it is, if I want it, I have to make it myself. My mom would never make it growing up, but my grandma would. Wife doesn't now, either.I know I'm in the minority, but I cant stand stuffing. There is way better sides to eat than stuffing. I support all of you for liking stuffing.... it means there is more of the good stuff left for me to eat.
I think you're right. I tell myself I love mashed potatoes, but in reality, I wouldn't touch them without gravy. What is it with the Midwest and green bean casserole?
The correct answer to this poll is gravy.
Gravy of turkey, better
Gravy on mashed potatoes, better
Gravy on stuffing, better
Gravy on anything, better (except green bean casserole then maybe it would be tolerable)
This is why misogyny exists. You know that, right?
Because you all like being wrong and yet an authority on all things anyway?
I'd go with ham too. Meat offers the greatest satisfaction and it doesn't stuff you.
I'll allow it.Honorable mention for devilled eggs, although maybe not a thanksgiving staple for all.
