Rae Johnson's St. Michael-Albertville High School team lost 77-69 to Moorhead in AAAA and is also out of the Minnesota tournament.

............freshman Megan Haugo limited St. Michael-Albertville standout Rae Johnson, an Iowa State commit, to 10 points. After draining nine 3-pointers in St. Michael-Albertville's section quarterfinal win, Johnson did not make one 3-pointer against the Spuds.

Sounds like Johnson was on fire the game before with 9 threes.

BTW, both Rae Scott and Johnson are in the running for 2017 Miss Minnesota Basketball. They have as good or better stats as any of the other 29 in the running. No "big" names scoring a thousand points a game (a Rebekah Dahlman or Carlie Wagner) or gals every P5 school in the country is after.

Along with Kennedy-Hopoate and Wise these ladies are exciting additions!
Too bad Scott and Johnson couldn't take their team to the championship and win. Invaluable experience which seems to lend to future success under pressure.

Speaking of Cedar Falls, they beat Maggie McGraw (2019) and her Indianola team 48-44 in the state semifinal. McGraw was held to 8 points. Cedar Falls also shut down McGraw's teammate Grace Berg (Missouri verbal), who had only 11 points after setting a record with 36 in the first round (McGraw had 20 in that game).

Lexi has 23 points and 4 assists but missed a crucial free throw and Howard's Grove tied it up then went ahead 42-40 with Aquinas with 20 seconds left. Now down by one after another missed FT and Howard's Grove with one point lead.

With TT's departure and Jadda's moving on does that open up two more scholly's for 2018 and 2019?

We rarely have all 15 available scholarships awarded. There are always scholarships available if needed. We had two available this year and like 4 still open for next year (unless I am missing something).

Maybe @mred and embed his chart again (might be worth a dedicated thread so we can find it easy). Not sure where to look for it. The Cyclone Fanatic one is never kept up todate. Doesn't even show the 2017 full class or delete the transfers.
