True, we will never know if they would have extended the lead there or not if Brown was in the game. ISU still had a 3 point led when Brown reentered the game. According to the box score ISU had a 10 point led 56-46 at 1:50 mark in the 3rd. At 1:40 EIU hit a 3 pointer, ISU missed two layups at 1:16 and 1:11 with a block in between by EIU. At 1:04 EIU hit another 3 pointer, so twice down the floor, they hit back to back 3 pointers while we did not score, all in the span of 36 seconds. Steulke was fouled and shot 2 free throws making the first, when Brown reentered the game at the :20 second mark. Neither team scored the rest of the quarter.ISU was up 10 with a few minutes left in the 3rd but only up 3 at the end of the 3rd.
I suppose Bill could have called a time out and gotten Brown into the game after the first made 3 point shot, but we were still up 7 at the time and missed 2 lay up and did not score, they then went down and hit another 3 and he had her ready to check in on the next dead ball. Not sure how much more he could have done there.
