Bristow would be another sophomore, Lexi a fifth year, and Denae…well, she is on her third school! Don’t even know if she is playing now.
Denae is playing..averaging 20 minutes and less than 4 points, and 2 turnovers. She made a mistake leaving..I truly believe that!

If we lose tomorrow night to that crap team I’m gonna be pissed.
Our guards have to be able to create offense. Lobbing it to Audi and turning the ball over 21 times is absurd.
Even despite our woeful free throw shooting, Iowa had 24 points off of turnovers. Our coaches failed tonight.

Bristow is averaging 5.5 ppg, Fritz 2.8. Donarski's numbers continue to fall. Averaging 9 ppg so far this year. The way things played out losing those three created other opportunities. Would I like to have them all back? In a heartbeat. I think Fritz would have developed nicely here. Bristow too.

Fennelly has a horrendous record against Iowa......it took Ashley Joens until her senior season to beat Iowa.
And now this is an Iowa squad that is extremely flawed....they don't have their savior, CC, who just put up 35 points a game. This was a winnable game and once again, our coaching staff was outclassed in this matchup.....every. single. year.
this puzzled me as well. It seemed the playbook was reduced to one page and that was force feed Crooks. We did get some looks from outside, but sadly AJ and Hansford are woefully inconsistent and aren’t much for scoring threats.
even our outside looks look so tough.....the offense has no flow at all....everything looks slow and we can't ever beat anyone off the dribble....it's the same story every single year against higher level competition
Too much standing around after passing it down low to Crooks. Need more cutting and ball movement.
we'll still win lots of games but you can understand how frustrating it is to lose the same way against higher level competition, right?

Good thing is the rest of the Big 12 isn’t great. Still think ISU can win the conference.
I have no doubt about this. It’s not going to be easy AND I expect this team to continue to improve. Will they meet preseason hype of being an Elite 8 or better team? Right now I’m doubtful. There are some serious flaws that need fixed. Can it happen? Yes. I’m just going to have to see tons of improvement in the areas that were so terrible tonight. Free throws, multiple scoring threats, reduce turnovers, and better personnel movement.
Free throw shooting is alarming! Not something I ever thought would be an issue.
i chalk tonight under the rivalry game…sucks to lose..but..we still have a ton of potential!
