Tough finish schedule for Iowa as they try and not play themselves out of March, 3 of 5 games versus ranked teams. Counting today the Terps finish with six games versus unranked teams so not much chance of them dropping or rising as a March #2 seed.Iowa has the worst defense in the big 10 so Maryland, being good, is made to look even better.
Buster28, I hope this game has made the rest of your day a much more pleasant one.111-93 final. Maryland wins (Iowa doesn't)!! Woohoo!!
Clark held to just 5 points in the second half (34 overall). Iowa connected on 17 threes, going 17-33. Maryland was 15-22 from long range. hoks fall to 8-7 in their league. Maryland improves to 13-1.
Only shows that I'm old and have followed WBB since Bill came, but I've seen all them play except Burns and Peterson.Red's Joens record thread got me thinking about where Lexi Donarski ranks among freshman seasons at ISU. Ah, pretty darn good and maybe better than peeps realize. ISU records go by total points per class and not scoring average but here's a table by average for everyone who averaged 11 points or better. Might have missed someone, hard to figure who was/was not a freshman in the 1970's listings as lots of peeps didn't play for four years.
Donarski is only guaranteed to hit 27 games but that isn't at all short for this season and same as Bridget played her freshman year. Likely to end up Top 5 whether you go by average or total points.

5400 damn that a lot of attendance. Jealous but it is what it is hopefully next yr we can all be back in Hilton.College Park is not overly kind to Iowa.
A perfect shooting night by sophomore center Monika Czinano was not enough for No. 17 University of Iowa to overcome No. 10 Maryland on Thursday during a 93-59 loss in front of 5,446 in the XFINITY Center.hawkeyesports.com
