Or the ISU WBB program?

(Not meant to be a crack at Billy, who has been an excellent coach/recruiter as far as I can tell.)
Billy will be a strong contender to take over the program. Not what I would have wanted a few years ago. But, he appears to have a positive impact on Iowa State WBB most apparent in recruiting.

I suggest, however, before that happens, Billy go on to successfully build another program and prove his ability and learn a little more about himself.

Saw some pics of our gals scrimmaging against the guys practice squad. Don't see the guys get much mention so thought I'd post some pics from the Facebook post as a little shout out to them.

Not sure who we will play that has that sort of post. Lee for K-State is out with a knee injury. Iowa has Monika Czinano but she (and I do like her) is pretty much all offense and doesn't pose as much of a defensive presence. The talented big gals from Texas and Baylor are gone. Unless some of the other teams freshman step up as all world I am not seeing much post power in the Big 12 unless I am totally missing someone. Heck, we might be the team with post power.

Will be interesting to see who is on the pre-season Big 12 teams and who is picked where for team finish. Sort of thinking we might be number one, or Baylor with us as a #2 prove it. Those picks should be out in a few weeks and aren't a big deal to me, they are sort of meaningless but am interested this year in the team pick. People get all razed up about "slights" on the player picks but that stuff sorts out by season's end and has always seemed to be weak outrage to me.

Yeah, I was referencing more in the past as I don't follow other teams that close and don't know who is gone and who is back.

I don't see a lot of f/c "Big Power" in the BIG XII at the start of the season with Iowa State definitely near the top having four experienced C/Fs. As-well-as welcoming a very talented transfer, Soares at 6' 6" being a newcomer with experience and some past success.

Opponents (or possible opponents) showing some promise (or lack of it) of strong/tall C/Fs has to include Oregon's three c/f of 6'7'' or more. At the Phil Knight Tourney we may meet them, possibly.

Texas Tech has three players 6'3-6'5"

With Lee out at K-State they still have Taylor Lauterbach 6'7" and a host (3) more 6'-3 players.

Texas has four players 6'4 to 6'5.

Okie State has two 6'3 players with some experience.

TCU has Patrica Morris at 6'7 and a couple of 6'3 ladies.

Baylor after 6'3 Queen Egbo has Brickle, and two 6'3-6'4 players.

Soares appears to be 100% if you recall she had the knee issue.

1. Baylor
2. Texas
3. ISU

Reasoning Baylor till proven otherwise, Texas is always given more credit then they deserve, and ISU because why not though I think the Jennie Bs could be in the top half with out doing any roster analysis (Jenny is a good coach).

Based on returning players and depth I’m going the homer route and pick ISU first.
