Updated with latest ESPN ratings. Crooks and Brown have entered the top 60 (although Brown may have been there before and I just forgot to check when I added her).

Interesting there are a lot of ISU/Iowa connections at SLU

Athletic Director - Chris May is ISU alumni
Head Coach - Lisa Stone is former Iowa player & Drake Coach
Assistant Coach - Brittany Lange is former ISU player

Outside of Nikki Moody it seems we've never had much luck recruiting Texas.
Tracy Gahan and Fallon Ellis come to mind. Granted, Tracy had ISU ties and was a long time ago, and Ellis wasn't highly recruited (although she had some great moments at ISU).

EDIT: Forgot Kidd! She was a great contributor from the lone star state. Also, Jade Thurmon (both high school and juco in Texas).

EDIT 2: I'm going back through the rosters. Some players who never or barely saw the court (McBride, Mays), or weren't rotation players (Ricketts). Chassidy Cole is another solid contributor who, like Jade Thurmon, went to both high school and juco in Texas.

EDIT 3: I forgot Whitney Williams was from Texas. She was good but struggled to crack the starting lineup.

Looking at the points by player in the media guide, it seems like Tracy Gahan was the first Texan to play WBB at ISU.

Fallon Ellis: 317
Whitney Williams: 269

Sorry to see Macy not make the Iowa State cut. Appears Coach F was honest with her and maybe advised her to look at other schools. She is talented but not a Lexi in height and talent.

She's a 6-2 (or 6-3, depending on where you look) forward who set a single game scoring record at her high school as a freshman with 42 in one game. That's not a freshman record that's in the history of the school.
She's had plenty of offers. In chronological order:

Texas Tech
Tulsa
Missouri State
North Texas
Georgia
Northwestern
Penn State
Providence
TCU
Illinois
Texas Tech again (new coaching staff)
Gonzaga
Houston
Oklahoma
Wichita State
Iowa State
