Way too soon Iowa State bowl predictions

Got an email today from the Liberty Bowl giving preseason projections:

Mississippi State vs. Iowa State, College Football News
Mississippi State vs. Kansas State, 247 Sports, Jeremy Crawford
Mississippi State vs TCU, CBS Sports, Jerry Palm
Kentucky vs. Iowa State, Sporting News, Bill Bender
Kentucky vs. Baylor, College Sports Madness

Don't "dislike" or "disagree" as these aren't my predictions. I just thought it might stimulate some fun discussion about where we might end up for a bowl game this year.

My hope is Notre Dame in the Orange Bowl.

Doesn't matter if we get to the top of the Big 12 bowl selection list. Anyway, this year is probably wide open since there are no Little 10 and Pec-12 teams vying for bowl picks.

I have my doubts as well but why though? If they can get solid tv money for it, which will likely be assured, why not? There’s plenty of lower tier bowls will very few fans already and yet they keep adding the damn things.

With the CFP there will be at least 3. There may be less bowls due to less teams but there will be bowls.
