Re: Vitale getting throat surgery

He used to bug me. Then I overcame that and now just admire the man for his passion not just towards basketball, but towards a lot of injustice in the world.

I'm surprised he didn't go to a Duke alumni doctor or even coach K himself.

There, fixed it for you

I would turn off an ISU game if Vitale was calling it and go to the radio feed. My dislike for the man knows no bounds. He was cute once a while back, but its grown old and the constant fawning over Duke regardless of the game he's calling is obscene.....

Re: Vitale getting throat surgery

Vitale is the biggest Duke/North Carolina/ACC homer and he hates ISU.

With that being said, I wish him a speedy recovery.

This is where someone posts that YouTube link where Orr calls out Vitale and says "and we kicked your ***!" on national TV.

(I'd post it myself but YouTube is blocked off where I work)

The guy is completely biased toward the Big East and more so the ACC.

But how can you not love this guy for his passion for life and for college basketball.

Too bad he never will come to Ames.

Too listen to him for an entire ballgame is just too much for me. he is that type of person in life where a little goes a long way.

I hate that he is not the biggest fan of Iowa State or our great coach Orr and I hate that he is such a homer towards the ACC, but I have so much respect for the man and what he has done with cancer research. Hope he gets better soon, college basketball really isn't quite the same without him.
