My wife bought a DVD she wants to watch on our brand new Compaq lap top...

--When we put it in, the HP DVD player comes up, it spins, and spits out the DVD

--When I manually start up Windows Media Player and then put the DVD in, it recognizes the DVD by name, has the chapters, etc...but right before it plays gives me this message...
Cannot play the DVD

Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because there is a problem with digital copy protection between your DVD drive, decoder, and video card. In some cases, you can resolve the problem by updating the device driver for your video card.

What the heck? Why would a 2009 lap top not play a 2009 dvd? I hate Vista (I know, take a #). Oh, and we tried a different DVD (Dexter, Season 1 :) and it worked fine.

Please help if you can...
