According to the Metro Sports Report,

Full Article: Ryan adds ACC to Uthoff's banned list

I would assume that if Wisconsin does not allow him to appeal that he will take it to the NCAA as he had mentioned within this latest article. I'm not sure what the premise would be from the NCAA regarding who you can or cannot place on a restricted list, but we may find out.

Bo has to realize this won't be good for his program, public relations-wise, right? Opposing coaches are going to use this against him in recruiting. He can't be this crazy/stubborn, can he?

He'll put Creighton on this list but wait until Uthoff is 5 minutes from the campus.

Looks like Creighton may be his place. Then he could try Drake. Then Wartburg. Etc.

seems to be some bitterness in Bo .... I'm sure he has his reasons, but this could turn into a PR problem. JU is a good kid, great family too.... no reason to hate on them.

Ive always heard that Bo is a total jack-***. This situation doesn't seem to dispute that.

Did he redshirt last year? If so, why wouldn't he just go JuCo for a year then go anywhere he wants?

The only reason I've heard as far as restricting ACC schools is due to the ACC/B1G challenge that occurs every year. However, as many have stated there is no way that this does not look negative on the program especially if it continues. There hasn't been any real sign of Ryan banning Creighton, based on what he's done with the ACC you would think he would have already done it if he was going to.

Creighton definitively appears to be a front-runner with UNI having no scholarships along with Iowa and Iowa State both being on the restricted list.

Really seems over the top and bitter. ISU being restricted is to make the kid miserable if that is where he wanted to go, but the entire ACC is a complete richard move.

Agreed. He apparently has no problem with kids transferring to his school (Bohannon), but he is quite the pouty baby when he loses one that he probably used dirty antics to get in the first place. I saw Uthoff play a lot of HS ball, and he never really fit Wisky's play style, but Bo sold him a bag of BS. This should give Fred and TJ a few more things to remind local talent to think about before chosing their school.

How about MCC? It is very close to the new Menards....Uthoff could walk over there to see Wallace.

I agree this whole thing is making Bo look like a petty *******, but I think we need to look at this from the other side.

Universities make a four, an most times, five year committment to these players. Were talking about $100k at a minimum the player will "recieve" over that period of time. With the way transfers are happening, it seems that both coachers and players need to do a much better job of vetting their prospects when choosing the appropriate place.

Other than this restriction list, what is the punishment for transfering? Sit out a year? Thats not very tough punishment when you continue to get your school paid for. I think transferring might even be encrouaged for some as a way to get a graduate degree out of the scholorship as opposed to "just" an undergrad degree.

Again I agree Bo is just sour, but JU is the one who decided to go to Wisconsin, and he is the one changing course, not Bo.

Did Bo have to sit out a year when he left Platteville for Milwaukee or Milwaukee for Madison? Did those schools have the right to limit the jobs he could take when he left those programs? He hasn't sat still at Madison his entire career. He was only in Milwaukee for two years.
