USA down 2-0 after 2 periods. In danger of not even getting a bronze medal; would be a huge disappointment after beating Russia last weekend

Yesterday must have really taken the wind out of their sails.

I don't know much about hockey. But I can tell when a team is playing deflated.

This is painful to watch. We look like our basketball team the first five minutes of most games.

They have looked like a different team (in a bad way) since about 10 minutes into the first period yesterday. Huge disappointment.

Patrick Kane going 0-2 on penalty shots has been a killer too. Very disappointing considering 24 hours ago we had a shot a gold. Now we will walk away empty handed.

Did we really expect the Dan "Choke" Bylsma to inspire these guys? And for those that were worried about Russia just because of their names, how about the play of Sweden, Canada and Finland in this tourney?

So 4th place is an aluminum medal right?

Russia is star power. Ovi, Malkin, Datsyuk and Kovalchuk. They never came together as team, just like USA.

Way to go USA Hockey and Bylsma. Thank goodness we have Forwards Callahan and Pacioretty & D Men Orpik and Martin on this team as opposed to F Bobby Ryan and Brandon Saad and D Keith Yandle and Nick Leddy.

Finland scored goals on back to back shots? That is coaching and leadership not rallying the guys.

I'm not a Bylsma fan myself, but who would have been a better coaching option? Tortorella maybe?

Dan Bylsma inspiring CHOKE at Club and International Level. And some of you Pitt Pens fans loved to throw Eddie O under the bus back in the day when he coached a pathetically under manned team. Where are the Pens fans now defending their pathetic coach...

They all get participation ribbons. Everyone's a winner..the American way.

Complete embarrassment for the entire USA Hockey Organization. Need to make some serious changes in selection, personnel and coaching in the next four years.

Don't watch Pittsburgh much, but Bylsma would not be my choice for the next Olympics.

Doubt that it's Bylsma's fault that players like Kane just haven't performed...
