He has a torn patellar tendon. Average recovery of 3-4 months. Should (hopefully) be just getting back into match shape by the time South Africa rolls around.

I don't think there's any way the US gets a seed. Most of that is based on the last 2 WC performances and we didn't make it out of our group in '06.

I couldn't believe some of the perfect opportunities they couldn't even put on goal in the 1st half but it was another nice comeback and good to end qualifying on a high note.

It's a long shot, but no impossible. Argentina qualifying was a blow to our chances. There's still a chance France and/or Portugal don't qualify, which would help a great deal. But if all the big names sneak their way in, we don't have a shot. If there are a couple more upsets, we might get in. At the very least, we need to end up a 'B' team. Last time around we were a 'C' team, which was a big factor in us ending up in the Group of Death.
