Looks like they're trying to beef up those QBs to take more of a pounding in the running game.

No kidding, they are both quite a bit more of a load than last year. Hopefully Sammy kept that sneaky quickness of his.

There were several nice weight gains on the RS fresh OL guys that I didn't list too. Trying to roll out some road graders, IMO.

How tall is EJ? I don't think he needs to get much bigger!

So I count 64 scholarship players on that page?

Add it to 25 recruits plus Trent Taylor and that is 90 players on the roster right now.

That sure is a lot.

I'm not sure that either Bob Graham or Pierce Richardson are on the active roster.

Oh you're right. I figured they would have updated that. I also didn't count Pierce Richardson in the first place I forgot he was on scholarship.

The bios for both players confirm that they were granted medical reshirts last year for career ending injuries. They can remain on scholarship to complete their degrees, but do not count against the 85 limit. They are probably still listed on the roster because they can be part of the program in ways other than being an active player.

That makes 89 then since I wasn't counting Richardson.

88 if Mike Johnson redshirts.

Thanks for catching that. Interesting that it's phrased as a "medical redshirt"....when that's not what a medical redshirt generally refers to.
