Dylan Soehner to the Saints. They lost Jared Cook so that is a good spot.
Maybe this isn’t right to feel this way but I’m honestly surprised Akers got signed.
Soehner grew up cheering for the Saints. They sent him a bunch of gear before the draft and gave him a pretty good UDFA contract. I think he makes that team.
Yeah, it’s not like he’s ever really been a return guy. Was always a good gunner, but do teams typically pick up people just for that? I suppose it’s just training camp, so it’s pretty low risk for the Rams.
So basically we return 20 of 22 starters, Kene gets drafted and 4 sign with teams. That math just shouldn't work.
I honestly don't even know if the CFL is still a think. I think it is. But Akers could be a menace on the bigger field.
Any idea ball park on contract? I'm always curious for the UDFAs approx what they get.
