Love to see the source. everything I saw including Woj said 26.

My post came off as rude, didn’t it?Apologies, definitely not the intent. I pulled it from Spotrac, which tends to be pretty accurate. All of the initial tweets say $26 million, so I’m guessing someone (an agent?) rounded up. Not a huge deal for someone who is going to end up with over $37mm in career earnings.

Mathurin played at Arizona, P12 POTY and second team All American.
In 2023 we won a bunch of overs to start the season on Mathurin. He wasn’t in the starting rotation , but when the season started his Over/Under points were like 8.5. By time he finally went under it was 14.5 as a guy coming of the bench.

He had 23 tonight on the highest volume.

I've been known to be one of the ones who says "stay and finish your education". When I say I wish they would stay, it's for entirely selfish reasons (I want the Cyclones to win). But I completely understand when they leave.

For Hali, it was pretty clear that he was probably not going to need the fall-back of a degree. For some of these kids, though...it's really bad advice that they are given to leave early. Especially when they're not lottery picks, or even expected to go high in the second round. Some of them don't even make it playing overseas. And if they leave and try to come back later to finish their degrees, it's now on their own dime. Sorry - I can't come up with specific players off the top of my head. :D
I think the program is now to the point where guys being able to leave early and find success is actually more beneficial to the program. Having guys declare after a year or two shows future recruits we are a viable path. But yes I’m selfish as well and will be disappointed if Milan leaves after the season.

Your post reminds me of the Imelda Marcos quote, "I get so tired listening to one million dollars here, one million dollars there, it's so petty."

Yeah, you're probably right. I'm just a big believer in education. I love seeing the GPA reports, and the players that make the Academic All-Big 12 and All-American teams. :D
