I didn't realize Kane was one assist short. 26 10 and 9. He had his big boy pants on tonight.
ESPN has him at 26 9 and 9
Iowa State Cyclones vs. Oklahoma State Cowboys - Box Score - February 03, 2014 - ESPN
Yes he did! A great match up regardless of the Smart acting jobs, and I think Kane was the obviously better player
simple. take a point away and put it in the assist column.
hopefully this put the lid on Smart for Big 12 POTY award. Kane or Ejim should be in running no doubt.
Weird the game cast recap article says 26 10 and 9.
If they take care of business down the stretch they will be in the running for it. Need wins against the teams they should beat and a few against the remaining ranked teams, too.
It won't stop Smart from getting every foul called on the opponent as he blows through the lane.
I know, I saw 26 10 9 on the tv
Kane and Smart were really going at it tonight. I thought for sure there would be punches thrown before the night was over. Thankfully there wasn't.
But Smart tried to go into beast mode in that 2nd half and put the game on his shoulders. But Kane still out performed him on the night clearly.
I'd still like Kane to do a little better at staying within himself though at times. He tends to let the refs or opposing players get under his skin at times, and it affects his game negatively sometimes.
Big Daddy Kane dominated Smart tonight.....BDK is Da Man....Here some comes the first 8 game winning streak in school history...
What is the school record for wins over ranked teams? So far this year we have 5 wins against ranked teams...that has to be close to the record...
I thought when Kane and Hoiberg were talking to Holly Rowe, that the stat said 26 11 9.
One of the great performances in Cyclone basketball history when you consider what he did defensively. Just and outstanding effort.
Smart got schooled!!
