And to be fair, last year ISU housed Iowa and Iowa went on to have a better season, but with their roster and experience, they should have.

What's different is ISU didn't do anything statistically abnormal when they beat Iowa.

Iowa did not have a better year...Iowa literally beat 1 ranked team...all year in regular season. They beat bunch bad bottom BIG teams.

Far harder to win 2 games In NCAA tourney than 2-3 games in Conf tourney.

yea..Mich State missed like 10 wide open 3's in 2nd half alone..Ton uncontested open looks. Iowa missed their share as well.

Iowa state won two games in the big dance. Iowa won zero.

I'll give credit to Ulis tonight, after Lipsey broke his ankles on a crossover, followed by shattering his hip after the fall, I thought his career was over as a P6 athlete. 8/10 1/1 18 points 3 assists and 2 rebounds is a pretty damn good line for your starting point guard. Maybe there is hope for him still.

I don't know if the box score is correct or not, but I'm seeing that Fran only went to the bench for 24 total minutes, tonight, and 14 of those went to Sandfort. The two freshman guards only got 6 and 4 minutes.

That is a pretty short bench.
