That is not good at all. Every single guy in the class for Iowa is a "cross your fingers and hope he's good" type of guy. Saw that this is the worst basketball class for Iowa since 2007-2008. That class then went a combined 49-78 the next 4 years

Yep. He kind of reminds me of Edozie. Same story, same type of game. Not really good but a nice kid to have on your team with a nice story. Nice to have on your team if you just need to fill out a ride and want to use it as a good story. If you didn't fail hardcore on every other recruit that is.

The thing that pisses me off is JorBo, Pemsl will play out of their minds and that McCaffery kid will bait one of our guys into either getting a T or tossed. We'll still beat them but that's the way that game seems to go.

Welcome Josh! Seems like a really good addition, who gives us some needed size after next year and should keep getting better. If Nunge can get it together and Pemsl stays for his fifth year, would it make sense to consider redshirting Big O?

Aaron Agnew was who came to mind for me.

Edozie was big and not super skilled, but I would not have called him fat.

This will be much like the typical low ranked Fran recruit like Kriener. Eventually get 15-18 minutes consistently on bad to mediocre teams, put up 6 and 4, and point to it as identifying or developing a solid contributor that was not getting much interest.

Meanwhile ISU will have guys that log DNPs that put up respectable numbers when forced into action due to injury or foul trouble.

I don't know why you would take an unathletic big man who shoots 22% from the line at any point

So fouling him may be an option? that 22% maybe a Royce White type number (too lazy to look) but it was always an adventure when he was shooting free throws. Loved Royce but it was hold your breath time when he'd shoot free throws.

he finally figured it out at the end of the season. If you remember, he would step to the line, and then would move his left foot in to a different position.

he actually yelled at Jon and Eric that he had it figured out during a game.
