Tough day for EIU hoops hopes

It’s pretty remarkable, when you think about it, the amount of resources the university of Iowa has, and for Fran to still be THIS bad at recruiting.
Rivals has him at zero stars, no Rivals ranking, no national ranking, no position ranking, and no state ranking. When you're a HS senior and this is the case, what does that mean exactly? That none of the services have got around to evaluating him yet, he's a late bloomer or what exactly? I don't really follow recruiting ranking services all that closely so I'm not sure how they work.
Mark my words this will be the 2020 Iowa Recruiting Class.

This Ogundele guy seems to be the next guy to commit for the hawks. Could be a good sign if so.
National rankings of 266, 295, unranked, and unranked. Wow. I knew Fran would try not to recruit over his sons, but that's playing it really safe. I wouldn't want to see the reaction if Prohm ever had a class like that. There's no way this can end up being their class is there?
Slow down now. Once the unranked guys commit to Iowa they will be bumped to the 290-300 range. They'll be fine.
The bottom guy was added as a joke but the top 3 may very well be their fall class.
Yeah after I posted that I realized the 2nd guy and the last guy are pretty much identical, so doubt they'd take both. I don't even know how many scholarships they have. Especially considering Fran holds one or two schollies to award to walkons every year.
Honestly, that’s probably a good haul for that program. They won’t compete for anything, but in a peak year be a bubble team. The UNI of the Big 10

Man, I don't usually feel sorry for the Hok Spinners on here but you guys have your work cut out for you with Fran and this program.
Frankly, I don't like these developments as I don't see how he stays competitive which means Barta will have a punchers chance at lucking into a decent coach. Would really have liked to see this play out more like Alford over the next 4-5 years. I think at best we have 2 more seasons of The Mad Franner.
