Big Ten officiating IS horrible and it's all self inflicted.

When you tell guys you're only going to use them if the Big Ten consortium (works Big Ten, MAAC, MAC, Summit and Horizon) gets to pick all the dates they want before they can accept dates from the other consortiums, all the big time guys are going to say '**** you' and that's how you end up with Kelly Pfeiffer, Larry Sciratto and DJ Carstensen doing all your games.

The Big 12 consortium (Big 12, Valley, Sun Belt, 1/2 the AAC contract) is so much more flexible and that's why the Big 12, Valley and AAC see Final Four level guys on a regular basis.

Iowa with 34 trips to the free throw line. They literally have to score 85+ to win because their defense is so ******
That is pathetic....no one can foul that much in a BB game...tiny ten doing everything possible including rigging officials to keep another **** team on the bubble fot the ncaa tournament...
Sukeyes are not deserving of a bid....

Rutgers must not play any defense whatsoever. They've gotten mauled by Iowa twice now this year. How do you let the opponent shoot 34 free throws and 50% (12/24) from 3? Am assuming Fran had the refs tied around his finger all day to have his team get to the line that often. Ridiculous, and good example of how Iowa is capable of getting an eye brow raising win every now and then but ultimately ***** the bed when their flash in the pan style crumbles and they have no plan b.

Rutgers isn't bad defensively. They're a physical team and the officials called the game in a way that was more favorable to Iowa's style yesterday. Rutgers didn't adjust and Iowa shot a million free throws.

Iowa still squarely on the bubble at #35 in NET rankings. ISU at #11. Guessing Iowa would be a #9 seed and ISU a #3 seed if the season ended today. Iowa still has a lot of work left to make it in.

Agree they have work, but if they’re truly too 35 team they should be able to handle. If they can’t win more than half of their remaining games they’ve got problems.

Just half will be enough imo. 5-5 rest of regular season than 1-1 in bt tournament puts them at 19-14 and likely in. Might be the first four but I don't think they get left out completely at that point

One could argue .500 in the Big 10 is not super impressive but given the NET ranking and the media obsession with the Big 10 I’m sure it would get you in.
