I know I said this was too hard, and I still believe that, but I’ll give it a shot. Ask me again in a couple of hours though:

The Godfather: Part II
The Martian
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
The Social Network
Seven

In no particular order (because I cannot definitively say what is #1 for my personal list):

Towering Inferno
Dead Poets Society
Alien
Star Trek II - The Wrath of Khan
Romy and Michele's High School Reunion

Honorable mentions to:

Moonraker
Aliens
Ferris Bueller's Day Off
Election
Close Encounters of the Third Kind

I saw a list of '25 Best War Movies' not long ago, and 'We Were Soldiers' wasn't on it. Immediately rendered that list meaningless. 'We Were Soldiers' I think is a top-5 war movie ever made, maybe top-3.
We need to do a top 5 war movie thread!

While I refused at first, gosh darn it, you probably all knew my absolute love for lists would eventually make me cave, so half reluctantly/half giddy here goes. However, in one final act of defiance, I'll say no particular order.

Saving Private Ryan
Die Hard
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Rings
The Dark Knight
Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back
