Too bad for Evansville. Now it will take them at least 10 years after he's gone to rebuild the program.

So like Chizik, Lickliter fails at Iowa and gets bumped UP to assistant coach at Evansville.
This is an Iowa problem. He was killing it at Butler, went to Iowa and then sucks. This is an Iowa issue.
Or he had Brad Stevens at Butler.
? Chizik left ISU to win a national championship as head coach of Auburn? Did you mean McCarney, who went on to win a national championship as an assistant with Florida?
He is saying being an assistant at Evansville is a better job than head coach at Iowa. Despite failing, he got a better job like Chizik.
Understand Evansville is interested in Fran. They want a quick turnaround....

Some day, they too can play for a national championship, in the NIT just like Fran did for Iowa.
To Licks credit, Evansville seems like a tough place to win at. I'd not be surprised if the MVC demoted them to the OVC and brought up Murray States rival, Morehead
