I don't think I have ever seen a ball in such a big hurry to get away from the basket as that ball did after his windmill.

People assume they can't feel pain...

I was excited that he was really ambidextrous with a strong left hand to go with his right hand..... then I watched him shoot a basketball with his left hand and said to myself, "oops". Still looks powerful though and hoping the rest of his game is as strong as his dunks. He could really help with the Rico Gathers types out there that just clear space in the lane.

There is nothing I like more as when a big strong guard posts up and abuses a smaller one, its automatic so hopefully ihe can do that. I see him as a stronger Hogue, doing a lot of the same things Dustin does. Hopefully he brings his hard hat like Dustin too.

Over/under on Burton appearances on ESPN Top 10......(25). With Burton and McKay, ISU will be ESPN Top 10 every time they play. Hell, they may have to do an ESPN Top 10 and an ISU only ESPN Top 10.

He had a PER in the mid-20s playing ~500 minutes in a season for Marquette as a true freshman.

This guy is going to be nuts.

Great comparison! Dominique's dunks were violent, vicious, as are Burton's. Dominique got robbed in the dunk contest when the crown went to Jordan.

His body build screams of that of a Marcus Smart. Besides the flopping, smart was badass and very tough to stop in the lane.

That dunk at Marquette was, shall we say, spectacular, as in head at rim-level or slightly above. Oh, the humanity.

6' 4 1/2 and 250, oh, the humanity.

Will he be a sophomore next year?

JR with 1.5 to play. Basically a repeat of the McKay situation unless NCAA grants a waiver. If ISU was called OU or KU, he would have a full two years to play.
