On the farm, IA
Talent improvement still occuring. Next year will be another good year. Look at our incoming guys...they'll be big players just like Niang was this year!

No one can convince me that Bubu Palo is a division 1 basketball player or that he ever "deserves" a scholarship.

You do realize that both of our runs against OU in the B12 tourney and against tOSU occurred with Bubu in the game and cranking up our defensive intensity don't you?

Gotta love the posters that come on here only after an ugly ISU loss or heartbreaking ISU loss to try to stir people up. I'm not sure which my favorite Hugs4ISU thread is...

1. The one he started after ISU got swept in Las Vegas earlier in the year when he stated that Creighton must be able to whip us because they won the tournament even though they were playing in an entirely different tournament

or

2. The one he started during the Texas game the season before last when we got blown out talking about Rhoads and ISU always sucking in big games.

Seriously? Go be a lame ***** elsewhere.

Yes. Seriously. I'd rather have Babb on crutches than Bubu any day of the week.

Back to the subject of the thread, someone quick list the players coming back. I think next years team will be incredibly competitive. A more mature, experienced Niang is going to be a keystone of the team. Those are my thoughts.

Bubu is fine on defense but on offense I agree he's pretty much a non-factor. His handle isn't very good and he can't shoot but I'm OK with him getting minutes for his defensive ability and defensive awareness.

As for next year...who knows? The Big 12 was garbage this year and many other teams are losing important pieces from their respective teams too. We'll be in the hunt for a NCAA birth again.

Bubu plays good D. He's a luxery to have next year with a FR PG as our only other option.
