Thomas should not have been starting over Morris

Things are much more fluid when Monte is out there. Ever notice the slow starts and then Monte comes in and things pick up. I get frustrated with Thomas doesn't put up open 3 looks before the defense closes on him. Catch and shoot dude. He gets a little lost on defense at times also. Matt will be a great player for us some day. Right now he is playing like a tentative freshman and Monte is playing a step above.

Yeah, one loss and rip on the true freshman. I bet Fred knows way more than any of you trolls that want to sit behind your computer and play expert coach.

Hey, that's a new thought that no one's ever thought of before.

The amount of minutes he plays is more important than if he starts or not. He didn't have a good game today but the 12 minutes he played was fair. He is inconsistent and only a freshman. Next game he might look a lot better.

Yeah, one loss and rip on the true freshman.

To be fair, people have been ripping on Thomas throughout the first 14 wins as well. Apparently, Fred has no idea what the best starting lineup is.

Obviously Fred know what he is doing and sees what he can do in practice everyday, and Thomas has still earned that starting spot but you can see that when he is not hitting shots early that his minutes dwindle and doesn't play much in 2nd half anymore. I really like the lineup with Morris in so we can post Kane

Not really because of the loss, nor do I think Matt lost us the game but he looks pretty lost and tentative.

Monte is a freshman also out plays Matt most of the time , Matt is going to be ok but needs to play his role , not a starter

Fire Fred. Here are the issues he's caused...

- starting Thomas
- too few losses and postgame meltdowns
- too high of ticket prices
- parking lot debacle
- student ticket shortage
- concession stands too busy

Its not like this is the first time its come up. Thomas may get there someday but its conference season, we cant afford to have him doing nothing for us at this point in the year.

(I think) that fast break today was the final straw. You know, the 3-on-2 one where MT was the right wing and had the pass bounce off his shoulder because he wasn't even looking for the ******* ball. That **** was embarrassing.

Of course Fred knows what he is doing but Matt Thomas is obviously not playing well and really hasn't played well all year. Him playing better is going to a be a huge difference between us making a run or not.

If he is only going to shoot wide open in rhythm threes, he needs to shoot a higher percentage.

Matt Thomas starts every game, we get off to a slow start, and then he sits the 2nd half and we come back miraculously.

Whatever reason Thomas is starting, it isn't because he is our 5th best player. You really can't argue that.

Thomas should be starting. Why play your best two pg's together the entire game? When would Kane get a rest?

Here is priority of who is playing best.
Kane
Georges Melvin tie
Hogue
Long Monte tie
Matt
Edozie
SDW

Matt had 12 minutes and started both halfs while Monte played 30 minutes and Naz 24 minutes.
