Athletic team and Brewer would be the second best QB in the Big Ten
That 21-13 beat down of 0-4 Rice has you shaking in your boots?
41 in sagarin, 33 in S&P, return a ton from a 7-6 team.
They’re a pretty good team.
We lost to a Big Ten West team at home but I still think we're good
Yeah self inflicted reasons. Not like iowa was able to stop us otherwise.
A win is a win. If Iowa would've messed up at the end of the game we wouldn't be saying Iowa had self-inflicting reasons, we'd say we won the game. I understand and am angry about how we played at the end of the game too, but that's how it goes sometimes.
Smashed 2 nobodies and barely got by 0-4 Rice. Believe it when I see it.
But are they 3-0?
It’s not uncommon for teams to struggle to victories against lesser teams. Happens multiple times every weekend.
True, I think this weekend will be a better barometer on whether they're actually "good".
Plus it isn’t like Baylor is some huge home field advantage. That place will be like CHA during a Tuesday night game during Christmas break.
95 degrees on artificial turf is home field advantage IMO
Was Iowa a good team that year they got beat by NDSU?
That's almost worse.
Never been but it always just looks weird there.
Didn't they beat some top 10ish team that year?
So things can be different from one week to the next?
michigan....overall I consider that team "above average".
Sorry @Lemmiwinks it was @dexterhawk I was telling him about Baylor being good
But ISU is obviously still better than Baylor too.
Seeing this thread bumped and instantly knowing it was gonna be Cytwins who bumped it...yup
Might have to put CyTwins on suicide watch next year when Iowa State loses six in a row to big bro
