I ranked college logos from the larger conferences, and I wanted to know what are some of your favorite college logos?

No clue why Missouri is tier 1.

    I think Maryland's is horrible.

Mizzou doesn't belong in Tier 1. Other than that, I guess I agree. 3 tiers almost doesn't seem like enough. Tier 2 has 80% of the logos.

I hate Texas, but they have the best logo in college sports IMO.

I think the Oregon State logo is hilariously bad... the whole list seems random, but that is expected with opinion based rankings.

Are these the primary logos for every team?

I enjoy Missouri's colors and logo art.

I agree Maryland's is terrible, that should probably be tier 3. Other than that, I guess I truly think most in tier 2 are anywhere from pretty good to just alright. Tier 3 logos are ones that I actually hate. Didn't know how else to rank it.

    Agreed.

Add Memphis and Wash St to the bottom as well.

Not sure why why Wisconsin would be bottom instead of those, but I grew up (still am) a Badger fan

I went off what ever ESPN had. Some schools do have secondary logos that are better. Just had a little fun this Friday afternoon.

It looks like the female reproductive system. Sorry, but anything with fallopian tubes is automatically disqualified from consideration for the best logo in college sports.

The fact that Washington's isn't symmetrical really bothers me

Iowa is black and yellow. Missouri's is more of a gold.

Yea just a lot of opinion-based, and of course everyone has their own.

For instance, to me its hard to distinguish between Baylor, OU, Auburn. Is it the font or color that grabs the eye?

I guess if I ranked them, I would break them into categories (logo (like Texas), Lettering, and a combo category). Something like that.

Also, I heard FSU has redesigned their Seminole logo.

I agree with Texas, MSU and UNC among the top logos. I think the cursive UCLA is also a great Logo.

Edit: forgot about the s cript filter.

I don't agree that Maryland's is terrible, but I definitely preferred the old one to the new one

I like how the U in the OU logo lines up symmetrically inbetween the O.

Auburn and Baylor are both plain to me, and I don't care for the color combo.

I actually think KSU's power cat deserves to be in Tier 1, or at least upper Tier 2. It's fairly iconic and well-known.

Author must have been a Mizzou grad. Only explanation for their inclusion in Tier 1... although their new flat, matte-style football helmet logo is a huge improvement:
