I believe the ref can stop the match if he wants. But this would not happen at the national tourny.

Wow. I'm surprised they let them keep wrestling. Isn't there some kind of NCAA rule about blood?
Yea, but you have 5 minutes of blood time I think. It's up to the ref's discretion to stop the match as well. In comparison, there's only 90 seconds for injury time.

Acutally the time is unlimited for blood, however if the ref decides one of the wrestlers has excessive bleeding which causes the match to be stopped every 30 seconds or so he can stop the match.
