And of course Iowa State gets called for kicker being offsides. I can't recall what game it was, iirc it was an onside kick (?) (so maybe rule there is different)

IIRC it was against Baylor at their place one year.

When asked about the pass interference flag he picked up late in the game, referee Reggie Smith told a pool reporter: ''Per Big 12 policy, officials cannot discuss a judgment call.''

Is it the same color guy as the Nebraska turnover game? "Was he out of bounds and did the ground cause the fumble?" Irritating voice and next to no knowledge of the game. Note in both games he tries to make injury excuses for the favored team's players when they aren't playing well.
