Does he realize Kentucky winning the SEC isn't just a given? Florida has been no slouch for a couple decades.

But seriously, has anybody checked on Dickie V to see if he's ok?

Dude is 78. He probably fell asleep on his keyboard mid-tweet.

I get that he's an ACC homer and slobbers on the blue bloods, but I don't mind him. He still brings a lot of energy and passion for the game. Unfortunately, he's essentially become a caricature of himself over the years.

To be honest, ESPN is probably in a tough spot with him. He's not a hound dog (Brent) and he does a TON of charity/cancer/Jimmy V stuff. Annoying as all get out on TV, but by all accounts a phenomenal human.

This. He's harmless. His worship of all things Duke is annoying, but it's rare for someone that old to still have that much passion and enthusiasm for the game. At least he's not some old curmudgeon using his platform to ***** about the way things were back in the good old days.
