These might not have been covered previously in a summer series, but here a few:
-Big 12 realignment (CW was in the media when all of this went down, would be nice to hear all of the things he was hearing behind the scenes); Might need to do a podcast series on that.
-rise and fall of some of our coaches (McCarney, Eustachy, Morgan, Chizik, etc), discuss what went right, why it went wrong.
- specific games of memory (the OU game in Norman, 2002 Iowa comeback game, 2000 Elite Eight game, 2011 Oklahoma State, etc)

I'd like to have another podcast on the future of social media and dreams for the "Cyclone Fanatic Podcast Network."

The four-time ACHA National Champion runner-up ISU Hockey Club. Who are these guys? What makes them tick? Why is it so much fun to watch them each winter?

Question about format, I don't remember enough how it was done last year. Is each segment devoted mostly to one topic, or might there be 2 or 3 topics for each? That could have an effect on what themes to submit or consider.

The ultimate what if…

Get Haaland to put some stats together showing what ISU would have done if Michigan hadn’t stolen Glen Rice from us on signing day.

I enjoyed the Rise and Fall of Paul Rhoads podcast a lot. This would be a good idea.

How about a podcast on the rankest speculation possible about what happens in the 2024 to 2025 range when all the contracts run out and what the world is like in 2026?

CW has hinted about some of his ideas about how it will all shake out a few times on the air. Why not just sit down and speculate together about it for 30-45 minutes?

CW had a similar thread last year asking for suggestions. I compiled a list of the previous Summer Series podcasts then, so adding to that list and the ones from last summer, these are the topics that have been discussed in the past in chronological order (2018 in bold, for reference):

Inside ISU Coaching Searches
Expectations for the next 5 years (would be an interesting re-listen)
Top Personalities in ISU History
Biggest What-Ifs in ISU History
Five Favorite Games
Iowa State's Mount Rushmore
The Rise & Fall of Paul Rhoads
From Lake of the Ozarks (w/CW's dad)
Iowa State’s Greatest Villians
Talking Facilities w/the Sukup Family
The Sustainability of ISU Football
Football Extravaganza

Would love to hear a podcast on revisiting the conference re-alignment drama from a few years ago from ISU’s perspective. Heck, that topic is big enough it could even turn into a docu-series like Transfer U. Love this series every off season, keep up the good work CW.

Here's a Modest Proposal: you could do a series of podcasts on the transfers under Fred and how they put Cyclone basketball back on the map. You could talk about how people said it was doing things the wrong way, the best practice squad in the country, etc.... Maybe even talk about a few transfers under Prohm. Dunno, just spitballing here

3a) How did Bryce Dejean-Jones affect that 2014-15 team? Did he really throw a chair at halftime of the UAB game in the NCAA tournament? Was that the downfall of Hoiberg's 1st tenure in college in that he couldn't take the recruiting any longer after that detraction?
I think a talk about the 14-15 team could be fascinating. It was a great year with 25 wins and a Big 12 tourney title, but between that team having a chance to control it's own destiny for the regular season and the first round loss to UAB there was plenty left to be desired. Wonder how much was going on beneath the surface between BDJ's (RIP) outburst and Fred's pending surgery and departure to the NBA.

How about a “CF forum podcast”. Your favorite threads, beast and worst posters, highest traffic moments, the evolution of CF through the years, behind the scenes, etc.

While not a sports subject, I think the subject would go over well CF collective, but this August will mark the five anniversary of VEISHA being discontinued. I think it would be interesting to take a look at why VEISHA is no more, personal stories, and are there any rumors on what it would take for it come back.
