Great, because the goal now is to turn college football into the No Fun League as well (actually, as it stands, they're already for the most part ahead of them on that curve).

How is it no fun? Have the rules gone a bit far? Yes. But their intent is spot-on.

Read my post about the Colts. They won last night. Didn't need to dance, just dominated the football game. Last I checked, that's fun.

Yeah, well, you know what they say, the highway to hell is paved with good intentions...

I was halfway kidding, mostly out of frustration as a Gator fan and as someone who has taken about 8 dozen hits similar to this in my life...

I didn't see all ofthe posts prior to your post. Your frustration is understandable.

Was watching the Colts last night. Wayne and Garson were making some amazing grabs, for big plays. Both just got up, dished the ball to the official and walked back to the huddle. :notworthy:

While in Buffalo, TO was practicing his end zone dances after a zero catch loss.

Was it Jim Brown, when asked why he just handed the ball to the referee after a score, that said..."I've been here before and I will be here again"?

Interesting in watching the Auburn game...their OC (Gus Malzahn) has instructed their team to hand the ball to the official after a score and then celebrate together as a team.

There is a reason why a guy as talented as TO has never been on a team that won the Super Bowl.

Granted, at that point they were down by 4 scores and he probably should have headed back to the huddle. But I'd rather at least see some emotion as opposed to just going through the motions and letting the game play out. Who knows if that would have been the spark to get UK back into the game...

Time and place, my friend, time and place.

Your team is getting absolutely shellacked...get your QB sacking arse back to the huddle. Save your emotions for playing the game rather than celebrating a totally inconsequential sack.

Have you ever heard of "false hustle"? Something you see a lot in basketball. At any rate, I think all of this celebrating over inconsequential plays is a kind of "false emotion".

Again, what part of it is not fun? I long for the day where my team is making big plays and winning games - but is "handcuffed" by the league's admin because they can't do the humpty dance in the end zone.

But, my understanding is that's their chance to do the "hump".
