it’s true, Tangs wife said so..

What a train wreck.

Kurtz seriously claiming the entire Big 12 thinks ISU student managers are spying on huddles with cameras?

Iowa and KU are now afterthoughts in terms of annoying teams, coaches and fans. This guy must be destroyed.

Kurtz might want to see what heights ISU soared to after we had an E8/NCOTY. They seem like they're on an even worse trajectory.

The big 12 tourney took real skills since they didn’t run the mops. Jim Carey must have had a hand in it

Glad everyone is finally coming around to the fact that KSU is not a school or fan base with which we should feel any kinship. While the enemy (KSU) of my enemy (KU) is my friend, KSU lacks any honor or redeeming qualities.

That said… it is Iowa and Mad Fran. Purple Kansas tears are delicious, but Hawkeye tears are euphoric. I would hate for Fran to move on from Iowa, though. He just needs a little more time to dig out of the Lick hole.

Tough choice here. . . Go Purple Kitties, I guess.

Iowa fans are checked out...they don't care about this Men's team and would lose zero sleep if they lost. KSU still has fans that care.

Meh, I'm ok with KSU, but Tang is on my disrespect list. Iowa on the other hand hate it all other than the hospital.

Compelling argument, and either way it’s a win-win, but imagining the dismay of the nearly two dozen fans that will be knitting and/or reading at CH while supporting their team is also pretty compelling.

In the end, I do pull for the Big XII team* for the good of the conference though it’s reasonable to argue this game is too meh to matter.

Is the NIT like the NCAA, where the further a conference team goes, the more $ goes into the conference pool?

I mean, I’m assuming the NCAA tourney is still like that. I’m getting old.

"Yeah, but how did your conference do in the NIT?" is a phrase that has probably never been uttered, so I really don't care if a conference team does well there.

So what's the deal with the mopping? I've seen the tweet with the pic, but I don't know what actually happened. Was she doing a bad job? Why was Tang watching to begin with? The confused look on the face of the ISU player (I can't remember who it was) only adds to my intrigue...

By the looks of if it he was throwing another fit and took it out on her. Something I'm sure he'd try to spin as just trying to help.

Cellar dwellers from the Big XII mopping* the floor with Big 10 refuse is a small argument of Big XII dominance. You know a win by UofI would be touted as a demonstration of Big 10 superiority or at least Big XII weakness.

I have never cheered for Iowa in anything, and don't plan on starting tonight. That said, through all ToE's excuses and whining whenever they lose to us, I don't believe they've ever accused us of cheating. It's a special person that sinks below Team out East.

Tang is at the bottom of my sh!tlist, but K-State is still just above ToE. Hope both teams look like diarrhea.

If I was more of an ******* I would have carried through with my idea to wave a flag at the airport yesterday as KSU left.

It's been a few days but I think he was upset about a non-call on a moving screen the possession prior, so he was demonstratively mopping up the spot where his player fell right in front of the ref.

I figured it was something like that.

Attention seeking behavior? From Tang? I can't believe it!

Was trying to remember as well...think it was where Madea (Tyler Perry) got trapped in front of the KSU bench and got called for a travel. Tang thought he got fouled. Fans booed him then and then when he made the refs stop the ISU in bounds to clean up the sweat spot they kept booing and then when he turned into the janitor they booed more.

KSU fans have now surpassed KU fans for me as most annoying. We had about 14 of them (apparently a whole family) sitting in the 2 rows in front of us during the Baylor game Friday night. A couple of them were obnoxiously rooting for Baylor and the 60 something year old mom sitting in front of me was viciously picking a fight the whole game with Conrad Hawley's best friend who was sitting down the row from them...all because he said he wasn't a big fan of Jerome Tang. He's not even an ISU fan, he was just there to support the CEO.

Last year about this time I would have never said this, but I am actually starting to like Bill Self and completely hate Jerome Tang.
Self has really mellowed out this year in his pressers. Not sure if his health scare gave him a new outlook on life or the fact that KU is not a top 10 team this year. He is not nearly as smug and condescending as he has been in the past.
