He does continue to get message board and media attention with this antics. And I think he REALLY likes that. Until he's slapped with a fine, I doubt he changes one bit.

Tamin doesn't even enter the conversation of #1 Big 12 floppers, that award is held by Marcus Smart who deserves a special category of #1 All-time NCAA Flopper.

Maybe I heard it wrong, but I thought I heard him say "we might not have taught them anything about basketball but we taught them how to be men and good husbands and fathers".
I'm not against helping your players to mature from boys to men - I think that's a good thing. But the first part of that quote isn't something I would expect a basketball coach to say. It was right after the not flopping or having pouty faces spiel.

Okay, please forgive me here; I had an obligation last night at the same time as the game that I needed to be at, so other than highlights I haven't seen the game at all.

But did Tang seriously pull a mop away from some poor girl and start mopping the f*cking floor during a timeout? Are you kidding me? WTAF?!!?

No. He was not. He said how he tells a Perry to stop doing it, and then transitions to Lipsey being #1 at this thing he wishes players wouldn’t do.

Honestly, it was more weird and beyond the pale than walking over across the half court line to accuse your opponent of spying on your huddle. You just don’t call out players like that in college athletics.

BY ought to give Tang a call and say something. The dude has lost it.
He can keep coaching his players to avoid emulating first team all-conference athletes
