The team that lost 10 of their last 15 games lost by 19 in a must win game. Also conference tournament wins are a separate category and do not change your conference record. Even if they had made a run to the final game, they can only claim 8 conference wins.

They count just not in conference standings. If they made the finals anyone with a brain would acknowledge they were .500 (11-11) v. Big XII opponents.

There is a reason Tang was considered one of the best assistant coaches in the nation and was always being put on lists and bragged up by people as a future star head coach, yet could never get a head coaching job. The guy has made it clear in his two years at KSU that he is a moron. Luckily KSU fell for the media love.
