Taking kids to football games

This exactly, every kid is different. Like I said above, I don't see my son making it through a whole game just yet, but if he was watching some games on TV with me at home or just seemed interested, why not try? It's a football game, not some formal event. It's not hurting anyone else. Even with a toddler's energy and attention span I would guess most kids still conduct themselves better than the drunk moron three rows back.

His 2 year old might even know a little more about the game than some of the students I've had to sit with for the last 4 years.

I fully encourage all parents to take their young children to games as long as they're over 100 feet from where I sit.

Never understood why people take children under 7, it's a football game not a rugrats movie...
